“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

Discover a
Path to Wellbeing

I specialize in helping adults and teens heal from the lasting impact of trauma and PTSD through trauma-informed, evidence-based care. As EMDR-trained, I use this powerful method to help clients process painful memories and reduce the emotional weight they carry. I also help clients recognize how past experiences influence present patterns, empowering them to create healthier ways of living.

My approach is grounded in compassion and safety. I create a supportive environment where you can explore your story, reconnect with your strengths, and discover new ways of coping. Healing from trauma is not just about surviving the past—it’s about reclaiming your life, building resilience, and moving forward with clarity and confidence.

While my specialty is trauma recovery, I also support clients navigating life’s many challenges, including stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship difficulties, and periods of transition. Whatever you are facing, I walk beside you with respect and understanding as you take steps toward lasting change.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling provides a safe, confidential space to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may affect your life. Whether you're working through trauma, PTSD, addiction recovery, or seeking deeper self-awareness, therapy can offer valuable support and create lasting change.

In our one-on-one sessions, we’ll work together at your pace to process the past, notice patterns, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges. I use an integrative, trauma-informed approach that may include:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): Helps resolve traumatic memories and reduce emotional distress.

  • Psychodynamic therapy: Explores the deeper emotional roots of current struggles.

  • Person-centered therapy: Keeps your values and goals at the center of our work.

  • Somatic therapy: Addresses how stress and trauma are held in the body and helps release tension.

  • Mindfulness practices: Build awareness, presence, and emotional balance.

  • Existential therapy: Supports reflection on meaning, purpose, and life’s challenges.

  • Trauma-informed addiction counseling: Addresses the connection between trauma and substance use.

Sessions last 53 minutes and are available both in person and virtually, giving you the option to choose the setting where you feel most comfortable and supported. Whether you're just beginning your healing journey or working on long-term recovery, individual counseling can help you reconnect with your sense of self and move forward with clarity and confidence.
